Synchronous PMAC Brushless Motors

Synchronous PMAC Brushless Motors

PMAC (brushless motors) are three-phase synchronous motors with rare earth magnets installed on the rotor to achieve high performance.

The efficiency of these motors is much higher than the traditional asynchronous (induction) motors, reducing the energy losses and increasing the life of the batteries.

Furthermore they have higher power density, this allows to reduce the motor weight with same power and duty cycle in several applications.

We have studied and tested these motors for several years, then the main PMAC motor problems have been solved. The experience of our R&D team has optimize the torque ripple and noise to achieve higher performances from all points of view.

The motor can be provided with two different high precision position sensors: the resolver and the sin-cos. These sensors allows an accurate motor control even at very low speed.
